Mindfulness for Schools
From Children to Teenagers
Children and Teenagers can use mindfulness as a tool to explore compassion, connection, community, and curiosity. Giving children the tools they need earlier to build confidence and to face unfamiliar situations gives them more opportunity to cultivate resilience and refine their mindfulness practice as they mature.
“Recent study found that 4th and 5th graders who took a four month meditation program demonstrated improvements in cognitive control, working memory, and math test scores. ”
